Air tightness

The property of a building or structural element that minimises uncontrolled air exchange in order to reduce heat loss. The skin of a balloon is airtight. A sieve is not.

Aluminium-laminated

"Aluminium-laminated" refers to the coating of an insulating material with a thin layer of aluminium foil or an aluminium coating. Polyurethane panels are available with or without aluminium lamination on both sides.
